“In my works I always strive to convey the essence of what I ‘saw’ in the images I captured – be it a certain mood, light or color.”
Silvia Ganora, Photographer, Italy
Silvia is from Domodossola, Italy and I warmly welcome her to From 1 Artist 2 Another as the featured artist for the week! – Douglas Moorezart
Artist statement: I’m an Italian fine art photographer. My interests range from traditional to digitally manipulated photography. In my works I always strive to convey the essence of what I ‘saw’ in the images I captured – be it a certain mood, light or color. I prefer not to stick to a particular style or subject, even though I have some preferences for abstract and architectural details. The digital darkroom is the place where I love experimenting, sometimes enhancing my ‘vision’ with the use of textures or muted colors, sometimes stripping away all the color to bring it down to a strong black and white simplicity.
